Martina McBride's nationwide volunteer group Team Martina has 27,000 reasons to celebrate. The group had a very ambitious goal of raising $20,000 in four weeks to aid in building the Chastain Park Conservancy Playground in Atlanta, which would serve as a world-class park for children of all abilities and needs.

Martina McBride is the kind of person who just wants to make the world a better place. The legendary country star harnessed the power of her national volunteer group, Team Martina, and partnered with a giving website called Crowdrise to help raise $20,000 for the Chastain Park Conservancy Playground in Atlanta.

Martina McBride is a huge advocate for big causes, and her passion was recently demonstrated through her nationwide volunteer group, Team Martina, which raised over $40,000 for breast cancer research.

Between Martina McBride's busy music career and her husband John's Blackbird Recording Studio, the McBrides are a busy couple. But that didn't stop them from finding a new way to share their music expertise with others.

Once again George Strait breaks another record, and this time it's one of his own. Strait performed his final show of the year on June 1, 2013 to a sold out crowd of 73,086 fans at the Alamodome in his hometown of San Antonio, breaking the previous attendance record that he himself set back in 2010.

In a special Valentine's Day interview with Jim Brickman, the romantic piano player revealed that his hit duet with Martina McBride came about because he realized that there wasn't really a song to celebrate the lover's holiday and what it truly means. Brickman says that he just wanted to write a simple love song that could be used as a 'Valentine' to someone that you care about.

It is finally showtime for Martina McBride and her "Joy Of Christmas Concert" this Friday evening December 14th at 7:30pm.

Martina McBride has graciously promised to donate a portion of the proceeds from her Dec. 9 Joy of Christmas holiday tour stop in West Long Branch, N.J. to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, a gesture that is truly the embodiment of the Christmas spirit.
