In a special Valentine’s Day interview with Jim Brickman, the romantic piano player revealed that his hit duet with Martina McBride came about because he realized that there wasn’t really a song to celebrate the lover’s holiday and what it truly means. Brickman says that he just wanted to write a simple love song that could be used as a ‘Valentine’ to someone that you care about.
