Country Music and good Country Cookin' seem to go hand-in-hand. In preparation for the holiday cooking season, we've compiled a list of our favorite Country Cookbooks.

This time of the year when the weather gets cooler there is nothing better than a nice hot cup of coffee and a piece of work class coffee cake.

As the nights and days get cooler and the leaves turn it is pumpkin pie time here in New York. You don't have to wait until Thanksgiving, you can enjoy a homemade pumpkin pie anytime. Our very own Scotty Blaine is always on pumpkin pie patrol here at the studios and can't get enough of the stuff. So if you bake an extra one, remember him.

Like any good southern gal, North Carolina native Kellie Pickler knows how to cook. In fact, the ‘Tough’ songstress was recently invited to demonstrate a few recipes on ABC’s cooking show, ‘The Chew.’ From the moment she walked on stage carrying a basket of pickles in mason jars (get it? Kellie Pickler makes pickles?), she was a complete hit on the daytime television show.

I had the honor of being the "house one-man band" for this year's New York State Broadcasters Awards night at the gorgeous Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing.  And guess who "cooked up" a top award?  The fabulous Rachael Ray.

I've always loved Trisha Yearwood.  You wanna talk about a pleasing, gorgeous voice?  OK, enough about that.  This is more about her cooking skills.  I guess she graced Piers Morgan's show on CNN recently and shared a bit of her domestic skills with the CNN audience.  I have the video here

This spring, you can expect to see a local hotel on a Fox TV show called, “Hotel Hell.”  The Cambridge Hotel is up for a makeover by chef Gordon Ramsay.
