Today, April 22, at 2:50pm, marks exactly one week since the tragedy unfolded at the Boston Marathon.
Boston Strong! Police have arrested bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev. A resident noticed blood on the cover of a boat stored in their yard and called police. Authorities flew over in a helicopter with thermal imaging and detected an individual inside the boat upon which time they closed in. The FBI used a robot to remove the tarp from the boat and to throw in 'flash bang' grenades, which are harmless - they make loud bangs and give a bright flash. A press conference was held shortly after - updates with what was revealed are below:
In the wake of the tragedy in Boston, we'd like to take a moment to honor the Albany area participants of the Boston Marathon.
Today I visited yet another elementary school in the area. I wrote a song with them and then recorded 20 kids in another group doing the Pledge Of Allegience. They were first graders. They were so cute, funny and innocent. Couldn't have had a better day. Then I turned on CNN, and I'm sure they're going to see it too.
