Retail stores have already announced their Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours: what about the area's malls and outlets? We have them right here for you!

Thanksgiving is a day that most of us get together with our families and think about what we’re thankful for.

As it has become custom now with major chain box stores across the country, Thanksgiving is no longer a time for employees to relax with their families while being thankful for what they have. No, it's all about the "consumer demand" and the need to open earlier and earlier every year to make that extra dollar. Case and point, this year is probably the worst to date.

Because no one wants to spend time with their family and friends on Thanksgiving, K-Mart is adding themselves to the long list of stores opening on Thanksgiving Day and staying open through Black Friday. But they are they aren't just opening in the evening. Nope, they will be open all day starting at 6 a.m.

Last year I put up a couple of videos of a couple of guys who went out on black Friday and asked store employees where to find completely imaginary items. Very funny stuff. This year I found a couple of different guys who took a different angle to messing with shoppers on the busiest shopping day.

I always enjoy bringing the show on the road. On Black Friday we took a trip to Clifton Park Center to visit with holiday shoppers. One of the most memorable conversations we had that day was with a very young shopper.

Now that we've survived Black Friday, it's time to take advantage of Cyber Monday Specials.

As I headed into work this morning at 1077 'GNA the off ramp to Crossgates Mall was backed up. A sure sign that it was Black Friday.

I am a big fan of the holidays. I love getting together with family on Thanksgiving eating turkey and watching football. I absolutely love Christmas as well. It is my favorite time of the year. One thing I am not a fan of is Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving is to many families it's own holiday - Black Friday. People stay up late and get up early to get some of the best deals of the season.
