How do you stay in shape? Zumba, line dancing, treadmill, aerobics, swimming, or walking are all great ways to keep moving, but have you ever considered spinning?

Spinning® is an indoor cycling class that anyone can benefit from. Regardless of how fit, flexible or coordinated you are, you’ll get a great workout. Simply hop on a bike, set the resistance and pace to the level that’s right for you, and let your instructor guide you through an incredible ride. They turn the lights down and the music up so that the riders can let the stresses of the day go, one pedal stroke at a time.

We recently had the chance to speak with Saratoga Cycling Studio co-owner Angela Amedio .

Why should someone take a Spinning class at a cycling studio versus a gym? This is all we do. You can also sign up for your bike one month in advance, eliminating the need to get to the gym early to sign up for a bike, only to find out the class is full.

Can anyone take a Spin class? YES, each class is designed to be all-levels from newbies to experienced riders. Each class has an instructor who is there to guide you, but in the end it’s YOUR ride.  You control the resistance and pace. In addition, we also have 2 beginner classes each month.  Our bikes are designed for riders from 4’10” to 6’10” in height and up to 350 pounds.

Do you need to be a member? NO, there is no membership fee. You can sign up for one class or buy packages. Even better, you can earn free classes by recommending your friends.

Top benefits of taking a spin class:

1)      Burn up to 800 calories per hour

2)      Low impact

3)      Time flies

4)      FUN

Saratoga Cycling Studio will open it's doors at 24 Hamilton Street in Saratoga Springs on April 30th.  If you want to check out spinning, there will be an open house on April 28th from 3 pm to 6 pm, giving you a chance to meet the instructors and win free classes.
