Rascal Flatts Expecting Baby & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

As we know Rascal Flatts will be here in Albany tonight.  Well, some big news surrounding Jay DeMarcus.  He and his wife Allison are expecting their second child this summer.  Their first baby, Madeline Leigh, was born in December of 2010 while the couple was married in May of 2004 in Nashville, TN.  Both Jay and Allison are very excited!

The Academy of Country Music kicked-off their first-ever ACM digital press conference this morning at 9:30am.  The purpose of the press conference is to announce the nominees for the 47th Academy of Country Music Awards.  The announcement comes via ACM social media channels like Facebook and Twitter.  Nominations will be posted on their website as well.

There's quite the buzz circling Nashville regarding Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's 'Brothers of the Sun Tour.'  Everyone in Nashville is wondering whether the two will be making music together or not.  Kenny told reporters that he and Tim would like to cut a song together, but "We haven't found the song yet."

And Luke Bryan was recently spotted in SeaWorld Orlando.  He met, of course, his biggest fan, Clyde the sea lion.  Luke had been in Orlando for Jason Aldean's 2012 'My Kinda Party' tour and will be heading back to Florida this weekend for a few more shows before reuninting with Jason on February 2nd.
