April 9, 2013 I have respect and appreciation for all genres of music, and I think Stevie Wonder's contributions to American Music are worthy of his 1989 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Keith Urban presented the Female Vocalist of the Year award to the dazzling Miranda Lambert at the 2013 ACMs, and she was completely surprised by the win. "I thought for sure Carrie had it this year, and she damn well deserves it!" she said as she took the stage... and broke into tears.
April 8, 2013 Last night's ACM Awards show was full of incredible performances. They would have been better if the show had the audio dialed in better. Am I the only that though the audio as a whole sounded bad?
April 8, 2013 What a great show last night! I can't remember an awards show with so many really awesome performances! I have to say my favorite was Eric Church's acoustic version of "Like Jesus Does". A Close second though, would have to be The Band Perry who left it all out there on the stage.

Despite the accuracy (or lack of accuracy) of these predictions for the 2013 ACM Awards, one thing is certain: one group of country fans will be ecstatic come Monday morning, while another will be furious that their favorite wasn't recognized for his or her talent and achievements. Only one out of every group of five can take the trophy for Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist and the other top prizes. This means four more will be left politely applauding for someone the industry says had a little better year. Fans tend to not be as graceful in defeat.
