Back in June, we had an article about how the Glens Falls Civic Center was up for auction.

Now, that has happened. Last night there was a vote by the Glens Falls Common Council about who would take ownership of the venue. It was decided that it would be sold to the Coalition To Save The Glens Falls Civic Center.

According to the story from CBS 6 Albany, the Coalition paid a deposit of $60,000, which was non-refundable. It was part of the $600,000 dollar lease/purchase deal.

I wonder what kind of events they’ll bring to the venue?
