My Boyfriend Didn’t Kiss Me When the Ball Dropped at Midnight

Here is the daily dilemma for Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012:

"Hey guys -- I hate to start off the new year on a down note, but it's because of New Year's Eve that I feel this way. Ironically, my boyfriend and I were at a club in Schenectady with a whole group of friends. He was with his guy friends on one side of the bar and I was with three girls on the other. I noticed that it was getting near midnight so we all got a little closer together as we counted it down. Now I realize that we weren't physically next to each other when the ball dropped, but when it did, he made no attempt to run over to me. He was high-fiving his drinking buddies for about five minutes before he even looked over at me. When he saw my expression, then he came running. Am I reading too much into this? I don't think so, personally, but I guess that would mean I have my own answer to my dilemma. What do you and your listeners think?"
