Muddy Jeans Just $425

You can't make this stuff up, and more unsettling, people will buy them. Nordstrom is selling muddy jeans for $425. Yup, I think I've seen everything.

I am not fashionista by any means and if I could wear jeans and sneakers everyday, I totally would. But this is just ridiculous. Not just because these jeans are $425, but they are jeans that are filthy dirty and caked on with what appears to be layers of mud.

Here how they are described on the store's website. "Heavily distressed medium-blue denim jeans in a comfortable straight-leg fit embody rugged, Americana workwear that's seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you're not afraid to get down and dirty."

Yeah just what we need, to appear that we work really hard. Thanks, Nordstrom.

I do remember thinking that ripped jeans were strange when I was young but I really wanted them. But instead of spending what I thought was a lot of money ($35), I just turned a pair of my favorites into ripped jeans with a pair of scissors.

Well you won't catch me rolling in the mud outside in my favorite jeans and if you buy a $425 pair of jeans to appear that you work hard outdoors, well we just can't be friends.
