I love listening to Miranda Lambert's new song 'Automatic.' The song invokes so many great memories of the pre-social media era.

I especially love the line about taping the Country Countdown. As a Country Music fan in the mid '80s, I remember that new Country Music singles (45s) were extremely hard to find in the Northeast.  So, if you really liked a new song, you had to get your blank cassette and tape it off of Bob Kingsley's American Country Countdown.

When I hear Miranda sing that line, I also think about my weekly trips to Record Town or Strawberries to search for that new 45 from Randy Travis, T. Graham Brown, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ronnie Milsap, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs or The Judds.  Now, you can get any song you want with a click!  Although it's way easier now, I still enjoyed the 'journey' to buy new music in a record store.

What is the one line in 'Automatic' that gets to you?  Please leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
