Memorial Day 2012 is this Monday May 28. People will be getting together to have cookouts and parties. Remember to check and see what businesses will be open or closed.

It’s a day off from work for many people, but let’s not forget what it’s all about - Remembering our Veterans. There’s a great way to show your support, and bring your whole family for the celebration. Go to a Veterans Day parade. There are several around the Albany area. Keep in mind that some of these parades will start on Wednesday May 23.
