The festive holiday train is coming through the Capital Region and the Adirondacks and they are collecting food for our local communities. Here is the information you need to know and where it will make its stops. According to Saratoga.com, The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will come through and make stops in cities in the Capital Region and the Adirondacks. The train has been entertaining and collecting food for local food pantries for over twenty years.

The train is scheduled to come through Tuesday, November 26th and Wednesday, November 27th. It's fun for the whole family. The train is decked out in holiday lights and they make a stop for 10-15 minutes in each city. The middlebox cars open up and there is a live band and music to celebrate the season. The event is free and local food banks accept donations at each stop.

We went one year and it was fun for all of us and very festive. It's a plus that the Mechanicville stop is right down the street from my Mom's house.
