Grandma’s Christmas Cookies – Holiday Recipes

Courtesy of Kevin Richards Entertainment

If hearing that George Strait classic ‘Christmas Cookies’ has got you craving that warm holiday aroma of cookies baking in the oven, then Grandma has a recipe for you!

Although Grandma loves George Strait’s song, one of her all-time favorite Christmas Crooners is Kenny Rogers. ‘The Gambler’s’ Christmas music have been a staple soundtrack at our family holiday gatherings for years. In the picture above, Grandma meets Kenny Rogers after one of his festive Christmas shows.

Everyone needs a Christmas Cookie. These are easy and fun to make for young or old. This is one of Grandma Carrie’s favorite recipes from southernfood.about.com.
