GNA Hotshots: Tracy Byrd at the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair

There's nothing like Fair season in Upstate New York, and one of our favorites is going on now out in Cobleskill at the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair. GNA was there on Wednesday, a picture-perfect evening for some delicious fried food and country music.

Fans out in Schoharie County arrived early and packed the grandstand for two country performers, Jason Wicks and Tracy Byrd.

Wicks, a New York native, is no stranger to the Capital Region having performed in front of Upstate NY fans for years, and he was great!

Then it was on to the main act, and country music fans showed a lot of love to Tracy Byrd, the Texas-born and raised singer-songwriter who made his mark in the early-to-mid 90s with songs like "The Keeper of the Stars", "I'm from the Country", "Holdin Heaven", and "Watermelon Crawl".

From 1993 until 1998, there wasn’t a year where he didn’t have at least one pretty big hit, and he performed them all on stage Wednesday night.
