Garth Brooksis the most recent inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame.  He was honored yesterday.  Garth was inducted into the Modern Era Artist category because he has taken the country music genre to new heights by engaging fans theatrically and musically without ever losing the sight of country music's roots.  Garth stated:

"I am astounded and honored to be in the Country Music Hall of fame.  At the same time, I can't help but feel guilty going in when there are so many deserving artists that came before me who are yet to be inducted."

Garth feels guilty that two of his biggest influences, Randy Travis and the late Keith Whitley, have yet to be inducted.

The Band Perry's #1 single, If I Die Young, has just been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA.  The sales of that single have exceeded 4 million.  It's the only single from a debut album in the last 18 months to achieve such a status.  If I Die Young has also sold more copies than any other country artist in the same timeframe.  The band's single, Postcard From Paris, is expected to be the single they will promote next.

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scoot revealed to InStyle that she is a big fan of the ABC drama Revenge.  Hillary says it reminds her a lot of the soap operas she use to watch with her grandmother as a kid.  If you don't know, Revenge is that new show that takes place in the Hamptons.  A daughter moves back to take revenge on people who framed her father for treason.  It airs Wednesday nights (tonight) on ABC at 10pm.

And David Nail recently revealed that he had a moment in Los Angeles very similar to the one Julia Roberts' character in "Pretty Woman" experienced.  David told ABC News Radio that he went shopping one day wearing nice sweatpants.  He stopped into a Burberry store to shop and felt like the sales people looked at him like,

"Son, you know you can't afford anything in here."

David almost bought something to just to prove them wrong, but decided he didn't really like anything anyway.
