Chowderfest – The Place To Find The Perfect Chowder

If you’re a chowder lover, like me, you will not want to miss this.

Maybe your favorite is New England clam chowder (that’s the white chowder), or Manhattan clam chowder (the red chowder). I like both. Some of the best New England clam chowder, [or should I say chowdah], that I ever had was in Cape Cod. Another kind of chowder is seafood chowder and also corn chowder.

You won’t have to travel to Cape Cod for the best New England clam chowder. Just head to Saratoga Springs for the 17th annual Chowderfest will be on Saturday, January 31.

Currently, there are 80 restaurants that will be participating and competing to see who has the best chowder. That’s where you come in. You get to vote on the chowder that you think is the best best. The winner of the best chowder will be awarded at an awards ceremony in the Saratoga Springs City Center that evening.

We’ve had a lot of cold days and hot chowder is perfect for cold days. You’ll need to pick up a ballot form for $10 dollars, so that you can vote.
