Carrie Underwood revealed in a recent interview with Access Hollywood that her first purchase when she hit it big was a sweatshirt in Paris for $1,200.  She also admitted that the purchase was a mistake.  Carrie didn’t understand the currency exchange and said she would never have bought as sweatshirt that was so expensive.  She was too embarrassed to return it after she made the realization.

“Now That’s What I Call Music Vol. 41” is due out in stores next week.  February 7th is the release date.  Toby Keith’s “Red Solo Cup” will be on the album as well as Luke Bryan and “I Don’t Want This Night to End” which we found out yesterday is doing quite well.

Chris Young is spending his fifth consecutive week at No.1 on the Billboard chart with his single “You.”  He joins Blake Shelton as one of the only two solo artists to top Billboard’s chart with their five most recent singles.

Speaking of Blake, he will be on your television this Thursday and Friday as part of the promotions leading up to the second season of “The Voice” kicking off right after the Super Bowl.  Blake will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Thursday at 11:35pm.  He will also appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Friday.
