Bethlehem Children’s School Is Going Green! -Reading, Writing and Rhyming [AUDIO]

Another great Capital Region school! (Sorry- that wasn’t a complete sentence). Let me try that again.  I had the chance to work with yet another great Capital Region school!  There we go…  This was a return appearance for me – the Bethlehem Children’s School.
First off, a big thank you to Principal Ralph Fahrenstock, and staff members Brittany Pardi,  Paul Doyle, John Grant and Lindsay Rock-Swartz.  This is a such a unique school. You can learn more about them here

One of the many things emphasized at the Bethlehem Children’s School is being kind to the earth – in fact they are having a GreenFest on May 17th that they would love to publicize as well, so without further adieu, here are the kids with their creation and promotional announcement  (lyrics to follow)

Parody of “Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith

At Bethlehem school, most things are recyclable,

And if they’re not, then there reusable

If they’re too big, they are reducible,

 because we believe in green
Recycled cups
pick everything up,
Recycle party,
 Recycle party
Compost your lunch,
grow a whole bunch,
Zero waste party. Zero waste party
Now stuff on the ground, that’s collectible
Loving the earth, that’s respectable
It’s what makes our school incredible,
because we believe in green
Recycled cups
pick everything up,
Recycle party,
 Recycle party
Compost your lunch,
grow a whole bunch,
Zero waste party. Zero waste party
