Brantley Gilbert Visits Disabled Veterans On Veteran’s Day [VIDEO]
Music is a great thing. It can make you feel good when you are feeling your worst. That is why I love this video.
Musicians on Call is an organization that brings music to the bedside of hospital patients. Musicians On Call was started back in 1999 by musician Kenli Mattus. He was performing for cancer patients at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in their recreation area. Many patients were unable to leave their rooms due to treatment so Mattus brought the music to them and the organization was born.
Brantley Gilbert stopped by the VA Hospital this past Veterans Day and played for many Veterans. I am a big supporter of our troops past and present and seeing things like this makes me very proud. God Bless Brantley for doing something like this and God Bless an an organization like Musicians On Call. With so much negativity in the world, it’s great to see things like this.
