A local Navy veteran says he called Next Generation Roofing simply to get a price quote about some work that needed to be done on his home.  Disappointed that he could only afford about half of the work that needed to be done, the patriotic owners of the company decided to take care of the 8 year Navy vet's entire bill.

Next Generation Roofing, a family owned and operated business for 7 years is located in Halfmoon.  The owners said they wanted to give back to a man who they believe has given us so much.

According to Spectrum News, Ted Williams an 8 year Navy vet, wasn't asking for any preferential treatment, but when he told the local business owners that he couldn't afford the entire bill, Next Generation decided step up.

On Sunday, they did 100% of the work that Williams needed for his roof, and they did it completely free of charge.  According to Spectrum news, the serviceman was 'floored'.

On their Facebook page, the local contractors were very proud to be able to thank the local hero posting:

Happy Veterans Day!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

A BIG thank you today and everyday to those who have and are currently serving for our country!!!
