In a video posted to their Facebook page on Monday afternoon, a popular Troy pizzeria announced that they're taking their well established brand across the Hudson River opening up another location in Albany this Spring.

DeFazio's Pizzeria has been serving delicious wood fired pizza in Troy for 30 years at 266th 4th Street and they're not leaving, so don't freak out!

The plan this spring, according to a video posted to their Facebook page, is to open up a second location in Albany.   According to the Times Union, the plan is to open up a second "satellite" store in May that will adjoin the Albany Distilling Co. Bar and Bottle Shop in Albany's warehouse district at 75 Livingston Ave. 

The Albany Distilling Co. excitedly announced the partnership on their Facebook page saying, "After a years’ worth of planning, construction, and weathering COVID-19, we are THRILLED to finally announce that DeFazio's Pizzeria is moving into ADCo!"

In the story written in the TU, it was explained in greater detail how the partnership will work out.

"DeFazio's at ADCo. will primarily serve takeout and delivery customers, though it also will make its wood-fired pizza, appetizers, antipasti and  homemade desserts available to customers at the ADCo. bar and in its courtyard." - The Times Union 

According to the source, their projected hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Albany Distilling Company is a small craft distillery located in Albany. According to their website, they use "both modern and traditional methods to produce high quality spirits."
