An Albany woman was due in Colonie Justice Court last Wednesday, but she apparently didn't have a ride, so she allegedly stole a car to get there.

33 year-old Pamela D. Copes, along with two of her friends took the car, which was reported stolen from 427 Second Avenue in Albany, earlier Wednesday morning. One little twist about the car was that it had an OnStar GPS. The GPS let authorities know that  the car was in Colonie at one Wolf Road address, and then a little while later it was at 312 Wolf Road. This is the address of the Colonie Public Safety Center, where the police department and court is. That's where the police found the stolen vehicle.

Copes was already in trouble for a laundry list of issues including petit larceny, unlawful possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful possession of marijuana,  reckless driving, unlawfully fleeing a police officer in the third degree, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Most of those happened in earlier this year. She can now add charges for the stolen car to her record.

After so many problems, do you think this woman should be locked up for a long time?
