Lately I've had several opportunities to speak at local Rotary Clubs.  I've spoken at the Latham and Cohoes clubs, and met some very nice folks.  I thought I'd spread the word about some of the good things that they do in the area.  Let's give them some props, peeps.

Would you like to know what Rotary Clubs do in a short minute?  Here's a quick video via YouTube

Service above self.  That's a great motto, and they do it so well, especially in this area.

According to an article in the Times Union, Reporter Jackson Wang tells us about the Saratoga Rotary club that donated $60,000 to three nonprofit organizations around here, Saratoga P.L.A.N., the Saratoga Hospital Foundation, and the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public library.  They also give money for scholarships as well.

I always worry about some of these very old organizations like Rotary, the Lions Club etc.  Will future generations join these fine groups?  I really hope they don't go away.  We need them more than ever these days.

Congrats to the Saratoga Rotary from the Sean and Richie Show for yet another job well done.
