Albany Area Restaurant Destroyed By Fire

A popular restaurant in the Cohoes - Watervliet area was destroyed by fire this morning.

Fire crews worked to put out the fire at Matt’s Fish Fry on Saratoga Avenue in Cohoes, early this morning.

In the article in the Times Union, The call alarm went out to authorities around 4:00 a.m.

Because it’s Lent, this is the busiest time of the year for this business. No word yet on the extent of damage to the building.
