AFC And NFC Championship Games Preview

I am calling my shot! I see this weekend ending with us getting a rematch of Super Bowl 35! The year was 2001 when the underdog Ravens SHOCKED the New York Football Giants 34 to 7. I'm not saying the outcome will be the same but the teams will be.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots 3pm on CBS: The Patriots are hard to pick against but there's something about the way the Ravens carry themselves that makes me think they will pull off a close win. Look for Ray Lewis and Ed Reed to play like this is their last chance at another Super Bowl because it could be. Joe Flacco has a sweet Fu man chu mustache and a chip on his shoulder I like the Ravens plus Seven points.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers 6:30 on FOX: I normally don't take any team that travels all the way across the country but I am breaking that rule and taking BIG BLUE! Eli has been amazing under pressure and speaking of pressure NOBODY wants to see the Giants Defensive line coming after them. So even though the 49ers have been amazing under Harbaugh I'll be all about the G-Men plus 2.5.
