This is beyond amazing and I made sure to read the headline multiple times because this is not the kind of thing you want to mess up.  According to the New York Lottery, a ticket was sold in Saratoga County for Wednesday's Powerball lottery and the jackpot is a whopping $94.8 million.

According to NorthJersey.com, it was quick pick ticket sold at Minogue's Beverage Center on Route 9 in Malta.  The nearly 95 million dollar New York Lottery jackpot winner has also been confirmed by the New York Lottery website. According to NorthJersey.com, the cash buy-out would be roughly 75 million dollars.

The winning numbers from Wednesday nights drawing are as follows:

10, 17, 31, 51, 53 and the Powerball 1

It's incredible to think that someone right here in the Capital Region is sitting on a jackpot that is nearly 100 million dollars and they may not even know it.  It may be a while before we find out who won this, as winners have up to one year to claim their prize before it's forfeited.

Back in 2011, 7 co-workers in Albany shared a Megamillions jackpot that had a grand prize of 319 million dollars.  This would without a doubt be the second largest jackpot win in the history of the Capital Region.

Minogue's Beverage Center has 4 locations in the Capital Region; Queensbury, Saratoga, Wilton and Malta.
