Two Albany area men will be headed to East Greenbush Town Court after they were both arrested for allegedly shoplifting.

In a press release from The East Greenbush Police Department, the one man was a 27-year-old that was chased by some employees of an East Greenbush store after they saw him carry a tee shirt and cargo pants out the door allegedly without paying for them. David Rosado from Cohoes was located shortly after the chase, at a nearby McDonalds. That’s when he was arrested by the East Greenbush Police. The merchandise which was worth $25 dollars, that he was accused of stealing was also recovered.

In a separate incident, 22-year-old Lawrence S. Myers, Jr. from Rensselaer was arrested after he allegedly tried to leave a store without paying for deodorant and an Xbox combo cable - $40 dollars worth of merchandise. Both men's court date will be on July 31.
