Local liquor store owners are looking for help after their business was robbed this past weekend.

Bob DeMeo's Discount Wine and Liquor on Campbell Ave. in Troy was robbed on Saturday night and the owners are hoping someone with information will come forward.

The robbery took place about 9 p.m. on Saturday as the store was about to close. The robber walked in, pretended to shop then pulled out a gun. The robber is believed to have left with around $3,000 in cash.

The owners of Bob DeMeo's Discount Wine and Liquor are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads police to the robber being arrested. The man who robbed the liquor store is described by the owners as a black man, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing and a winter cap. According to police, he was last seen heading south on Donegal Avenue.
