
Two Arrested After Knife Altercation at a Capital Region Stewart’s
Stewarts Scuffle
A middle-of-the-day knife altercation at the parking lot of a Stewart's Shop in Rensselaer County led to two arrests, and local police are trying to find one person who fled the scene.
According to a post from Sidewinder Photography, there was a dispute at the
at the Stewart’s Shop on Main Avenue in North Greenbush, which "escalated into a police investigation and two drug-related arrests this afternoon."
The Men Knew One Another
Sidewinder said that police were called to the Stewart's in the middle of the afternoon, around 2:22 PM. The report states that the knife-wielding argument started between two men traveling together.
"The incident reportedly began with an argument between two individuals traveling together, during which one allegedly threatened the other with a knife," according to the report.

Was Anyone Stabbed?
Sidewinder Photography said no one was physically harmed in the Stewart's parking lot.
However, the report states that a "witness initially claimed that one person may have been stabbed, though police later determined this was not the case."
According to the report, two men were arrested, and a third fled.

Drugs Were Found on the Two Men
Sidewinder Photography states the two men involved in the knife-wielding incident were also in possession of drugs.
They've been identified as Jeffrey Lillis, 31, of North Greenbush, and Roshawn Sullivan, 50, of Watervliet. Here's what they're facing:
• Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
• Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone with additional information to contact the North Greenbush Police Department at 518-283-5323.
