When the New York State Trooper went to talk to the driver, the trooper thought that he detected the smell of something from inside the car, but it was not the smell of one of those pine scented car air fresheners that people hang from their rear view mirrors. It was allegedly the smell of pot. That prompted a search of the car. That search ended up getting 29-year-old James Mirable arrested and an appearance ticket to go back to court.

According to the article in the Times Union, authorities allegedly found some marijuana and hydrocodone pills in Mirable’s vehicle. Mirable’s charges were Unlawful Possession Of Marijuana and Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance in the seventh degree.
