Tony Stewart Hospitalized With Back Injury In ATV Accident
Tony Stewart injured in all-terrain vehicle accident.
It was reported Tuesday that NASCAR driver Tony Stewart was hospitalized with a back injury resulting from an accident that occurred on Sunday.
Stewart-Haas Racing Team acknowledged the accident and released a statement confirming Tony was transported to the hospital after the accident and that he is able to move all extremities. The team also confirmed the accident involved an all-terrain vehicle.

Tony Stewart, driver of the No. 14 Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, sustained a back injury in a non-racing accident Sunday afternoon.
Stewart was transported to a local hospital following the accident and is currently being evaluated. Stewart is awake and alert, and able to move all extremities. An update will be provided Thursday afternoon when more information is known.
What does this mean for Tony Stewart's final NASCAR season? Stewart has been out of the race car before, but this is slated to be his farewell season. Tributes are already planned. I guess this will just have to play out. Stay tuned for more information on Thursday!
