I'm a guy, but I love to cook and the more I can learn about it the happier I am. When you have a chance to see it in action with a world class chef at a top shelf live cooking show you really can pick up a lot and feel confident when you get creative in the kitchen.

Of all the things in the world that you can make at home, and just feel awesome about I think soup is the best of all. This time of the year when the leaves turn and the days get cooler a nice cup or bowl of homemade soup really hits the spot.

Michael is a born entertainer who loves sharing his talents with his audiences. “I love being on stage, entertaining, and sharing my love of cooking,” exclaims Michael. “It’s all about bringing the family back to the table.” His love of family food can be traced back to his grandmother’s Hungarian cooking, which he describes as “comfort food from loving hands.”

I am an absolute pecan pie loving freak!

On Wednesday night, November 16 starting at 7:00 p.m., it will be time to go to school - Taste Of Home cooking school at the Crown Plaza in Albany.

The Taste of Home Cooking School is coming up on us fast and in anticipation we're trying out some recipes leading up to Thanksgiving. A favorite dish with my family is the stuffing and this year instead of relying on the stuff out of the box I'm going to give the homemade version a go.
