After scratching from this weekend’s 137th running of the Kentucky Derby, Uncle Mo was reportedly trucked to a nearby farm just an hour east of Churchill Downs, according to the “New York Daily News.”

The Capital Region has made it onto a list of the healthiest counties in New York State.  More specifically, Saratoga County holds high honors coming in second place yet again, according to annual rankings.

With a relatively nice day and the time change yesterday, I slept in a little late, met some friends and went to Saratoga to walk around and grab lunch.  In case you have never been to downtown Saratoga, there are numerous boutiques and shops to either window shop or browse, including women's clothing stores.

I just got engaged after Thanksgiving and as time continues, the vision of my wedding changes as I do my research. I'm so excited about the thought of having 75 wedding professionals, including over 16 different reception facilities / caterers, photographers, videographers, bands, DJ's, tuxedos, wedding gowns.  Sounds perfect to me!

Regardless if you are heading out today or staying near home, make sure you know the proper procedure for your town, village or city during a snow emergency.  It's important to also know how long your area will be in a snow emergency.  Some areas keep a snow emergency in effect for one or two days after the snow falls just to make it easier for the plows to clean up the roads a little more.  Sever
