There is some very good news coming from the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. Long-time resident and a very good girl, Betty White, has finally been adopted.
There is a movement called #bettywhitechallenge that is asking for donations to local animal shelters in honor of the late Betty White and her dedication to helping animals in need. But there is a different movement that is happening at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter that is asking to give Betty White a new "leash" on life.
A Facebook post by the Saratoga County Animal Shelter updated the condition of 'Soldier' the cat who was found last week with apparent burns on his face. Over the course of a few days at the shelter the cat's condition has rapidly improved!
I'll never understand how someone could do this to a helpless, innocent animal...it just makes me sick to my stomach. Last week, Saratoga troopers found an abandoned cat with what they believe are some sort of chemical burns. Police are now asking for your help to help identify the owner or the person responsible for the heinous act.
