In just a year’s time, Lauren Alaina has transformed from an adorable ‘American Idol’ runner-up to a bombshell blonde country starlet right before our eyes. The ‘George Peaches’ singer was a busy bee in photographer Russ Harrington’s studio this week, and thanks to Twitter, we were able to get a sneak peek at the singer’s sassy, more mature look.

Although there was less 'Country Music' represented on this year's show, Skylar Laine looks like the only country hopeful from this season's show.
