Killed

On July 8th 1993, Betty Conley, a 37-year-old wife and mother of two was found dead at the convenient store she worked at in the Town of Charlton.  The killer shot her in the back of the head and then took off with a measly $100 from the Xtra Mart she worked at on Route 67.  To this day, her killer has never been caught.

A New York State Trooper involved in a crash this morning on way his way into work at the barracks in Fonda has sadly died from his injuries.  All of us here at WGNA send our sincerest and deepest condolences to the family of Trooper Jeremy J. VanNostrand.  Rest In Peace, Troop. And thank you for keeping us safe, sir.
