Now they are involved in making a new ride at Gore mountain, the largest in the state.
Hoffman's Playland was an amusement park in Latham from 1952 until 2014. I went there almost every weekend as a kid and even got to take my son Ryan a few times before it closed. Even though many of the rides were relocated to Huck Finn's Playland in Albany, Hoffman's holds a soft spot in my heart. Take a look at the now-abandoned Hoffman's Playland.

I am not a person who does yoga, but when cute animals are involved, I'm all in. I had a blast doing goat at Into The Woods Farm in Middle Grove. The staff was awesome and the goats made it the best exercise class I have ever taken. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves animals and a lot of laughter. I may go back because they offer hikes with the goats too.

The fans in Buffalo affectionately call them the Buffalo Blue Jays. We got tickets on the first base side where the Tampa Rays were
Good news fairgoers! It looks like we will be able to experience all of the county fairs and local festivals this summer. Although last year fairs got creative with drive-up fair food festivals, it's nice to know that we can actually go into the fairs and enjoy what they have to offer, from the deep-fried foods to the rides, and games on the midway.
As a kid, in the '80s, my sisters and I used to go to Guptill's Skating Arena every weekend. It was really cool to see that rollerskating is making a come back and a national show highlighted our very own Guptill's that is the oldest running rink in America.
