This is the final week for the Capital Region fairs. Check out the ones that run this week. Here is a guide to the final fairs, dates, and what they offer.

There are many county fairs in New York State and most of them are Upstate featuring great food, rides, and agriculture. This fair is no exception. In fact, it is one of the oldest in New York State and there is a special early-bird ticket sale going on now.

Some people love the rides. Others love the games. Live entertainment, animals, racing but for me, it's all about the food at the local fairs. The largest mozzarella sticks known to man, fried pb&j, fried oreos, fried pickles, fried everything and of course food on sticks (I love food on sticks.)

It's close to that time of year when the county fairs start coming into town. I always enjoy the fairs for some great rides, games and all the great fair food. But what I think I enjoy the most is the great country  music you can enjoy whether it be local or national acts.
