We asked our Capital Region listeners how they may have quit their jobs in an epic way and here are some of our favorite responses.

A report from the Times Union says that Grandma's Pies, the iconic Colonie restaurant and pie shop, may have served up it's last slice of down home goodness on Sunday.  Sad news for the longstanding restaurant that many people here in the Capital Region have a strong nostalgic connection to.

It's official.  Our hometown Albany Empire will forever be known as the last Arena Football League champion because today comes the somber news that fans were hoping they wouldn't hear. The Arena Football League and our hometown Albany empire are officially dead.

We are all saddened by the news that our beloved Albany Empire are no more. But no one is more devastated in our eight-year-old son, Ryan. It was heartwrenching when I told him the news.

What a great show last night! I can't remember an awards show with so many really awesome performances! I have to say my favorite was Eric Church's acoustic version of   "Like Jesus Does". A Close second though, would have to be The Band Perry who left it all out there on the stage.
