Does anyone in your family still make or serve the dreaded fruitcake?  Well, in case you are deprived of this wonderful experience, you can purchase one.  That's the good news.  The bad news?  It's 70 years old!

Many people are doing their own cooking this Thanksgiving, and that's good.  But sometimes people forget the basics, and it becomes a complicated affair.  Well, being a master chef myself, I thought I'd help you (actually, I have the latest Reader's Digest, and I got the tips from them)

The Taste of Home Cooking School is coming up on us fast and in anticipation we're trying out some recipes leading up to Thanksgiving. A favorite dish with my family is the stuffing and this year instead of relying on the stuff out of the box I'm going to give the homemade version a go.
