Central New York may be better than many other regions of the state, but people still don't like New York for many reasons. One state next door wants to pay you to high tail it out.

If you are looking for a second job or just to make a little extra money, the U.S. Census is hiring hundreds of thousands of people across the country. There are many jobs available right here in the Capital Region.

There seems to be a surge in population north of the Twin Bridges. Saratoga County has boasted most of the growth in population in the last eight years. Two towns specifically had the most in New York state.

According to the Census Bureau Wednesday, almost half of women between the ages of 25 and 29 have never been married, which is apparently up about a quarter when compared to the same age group, 25 years ago.
