The Academy of Country Music is giving fans the chance to vote for the best new country artist of the year.

2 Major Superstars and a Rising Star are joining forces to give us a new song that could be one of the biggest hits of Spring 2014.

I have respect and appreciation for all genres of music, and I think Stevie Wonder's contributions to American Music are worthy of his 1989 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Keith Urban presented the Female Vocalist of the Year award to the dazzling Miranda Lambert at the 2013 ACMs, and she was completely surprised by the win. "I thought for sure Carrie had it this year, and she damn well deserves it!" she said as she took the stage... and broke into tears.

Last night's ACM Awards show was full of incredible performances. They would have been better if the show had the audio dialed in better. Am I the only that though the audio as a whole sounded bad?

What a great show last night! I can't remember an awards show with so many really awesome performances! I have to say my favorite was Eric Church's acoustic version of   "Like Jesus Does". A Close second though, would have to be The Band Perry who left it all out there on the stage.

The 2013 ACM awards were full of great musical moments!

It was another big night of Country Music at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. Here's a recap of the night's big winners.

I have to admit to you, I'm usually never THAT excited for awards shows. Well if you  don't count the CMA awards show where I was actually there because Richie and I won one. Tonight, however I am very excited to see the 48th ACM Awards for one particular moment.

The ACM Awards are Sunday night at 8pm on CBS-TV, WRGB Channel 6 locally.
