The Capital Region is set for the return of a beautiful music venue and they will reopen in February with a legendary country voice.

Roseanne Cash, the oldest daughter of Johnny Cash, will help reopen Universal Preservation Hall (UPH) with a show on February 29, 2020, according to a Times Union story. The hall has been under renovation for the last 2 years that covers $9 million in improvements. Tickets for the Cash show, as well as a series of other UPH events, are on sale now at the venue website, by phone at 518-346-6204 and in person at Proctor's.

Getting this venue back in Saratoga is a pretty cool thing, and having a Country legend reopen it is awesome as well. By the looks of it UPH could become a destination for today's Country stars to perform some more intimate, acoustic shows. From the looks of it, this building has a vibe and feel lends itself to that format which - we all love!

If you visit the UPH Facebook page, you can see some video of the renovation.
