The Country concert announcements keep rolling in!

And now one of our favorite local venues is getting into the mix! Troy Music Hall has announced that Sara Evans will be taking the stage on Sunday, October 3rd. It has been a few years since Sara has performed here in the Capital Region. Her last area concert was at the Palace Theatre in Albany back in February of 2018.

Hopefully, Sara will be coming with new music as she gets ready for her concert stop in Troy. In addition to her classics like "Born To Fly" and "Suds In the Bucket" we hope she will also perform some songs from her 2020 covers album "Copy That." That included Sara's amazing takes on classics from Fleetwood Mac, The Bee Gees, John Mayer, Hank Williams, and more.

With this show announcement, that is three new shows this week that have been added to our fall Country concert calendar. We also got the great news yesterday Kelsea Ballerini will open for the Jonas Brothers at SPAC Thursday, September 28th, and Lady A will bring their 'What A Song Does Tour' to the Times Union Center on Saturday, October 9th. Throw in Zac Brown Band at SPAC (Which is also October 3rd) and Brothers Osborne at the Pace on October 30th and we have plenty of great shows to check out this fall. We knew this moment would come! Now you just need to pick and choose who you want to see this fall!

Tickets for the Sara Evans show are on sale now through the Troy Music Hall Box Office.

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
