An Albany favorite for good times & great food has announced it will close permanently next month.

In a heartfelt note to the Village Colonie today, a beloved restaurant and bar revealed that their run serving the community will end on May 27th.

We have had a bunch of various closings recently. And while most of them have been national chains, it is still tough to see any local business close, whatever the reason. But this one hits a little closer to home.

O'Toole's Restaurant Pub Of Colonie To Close

O'Toole's Restaurant Pub announced on its Facebook page today that it will be closing after 32 years in business. Their last day of operation will be Tuesday, May 27th.

In their hearfelt post O'Toole's wrote:

Thirty-two years of serving the community, our beloved patrons; and our cherished Village if Colonie, will come to an end May 27th. It's been a pleasure and honor!

O'Toole's went to to thank their "awesome staff" over the years and says "special updates" will be coming soon as they wind down operations.
