As her journey takes a dramatic turn, she finds herself ensnared by Jesse, a charming yet dangerous trafficker. When the police are too slow to act, her father, John, takes matters into his own hands and does everything possible to find his daughter and save her, as Jesse threatens to unravel everything Shannon holds dear, sending her off to a Mexican cartel. At the same time, Shannon's parents face the daunting challenge of navigating a complex and unforgiving legal system, to fight against accusations that threaten to destroy their lives.
