It’s called CANstruction - Projects of structures which are all built using full cans of food. It’s an annual fundraising event which is done locally at the New York State Museum in Albany.

CANstruction is a unique charity world wide event which will donate all of the cans of food to food banks at the end of the event. The display of the structures can be seen on the fourth floor of the New York State Museum, until April 15.

Capital Region CANstruction helps to provide food to local food pantries to help stock their shelves in the summer months. The theme of this year’s CANstruction is ‘Heroes’. If you would like to check out the structures, you can bring cans of food to donate. According to the Capital Region CANstruction website, you can get more information by calling 518-795-3849.
