
Driver Arrested After Running Over Martha’s Dandee Creme Neon Ice Cream Cone Sign
One of the iconic road signs at Martha's Dandee Creme in Lake George was run over and destroyed by a pickup truck on Friday night.
According to a Facebook post from the iconic ice cream stand, "...A vehicle plowed through our iconic neon ice cream cone road sign, taking down the sign, flower bed, and light pole. (The vehicle)...Proceeded through one of our water-feature fountains and bench. This was extremely disturbing, as 45 minutes before, we were very busy, and just minutes before, employees were cleaning up the parking lot."
According to News Channel 13, the Warren County Sheriff charged 19-year-old Caleb Denning with assault and criminal mischief, as this accident stemmed from "...a domestic incident when (the suspect)...allegedly hit a woman in the face."
